Every entry here is one question about design, answered the way a studio answers it for a client: plainly, with the numbers, and with the reason each choice was made. Four desks hold the notes. Branding covers names, marks and colour. Web design covers layout, type, speed and accessibility. Print and packaging covers stock, ink and finishing. Studio practice covers briefing, testing, pricing and handover. Entries are written in British English, dated, and revised when the trade moves.
