Write to the desk

The desk reads every letter and answers the ones that carry a question about an entry or a source worth adding. Write to hello@staganddoedesigns.co.uk.

What helps a letter

  • The address of the entry you are writing about, or its exact title.
  • The figure or sentence you are questioning, quoted as it stands.
  • A source the desk can read: a specification sheet, a sample book page, a supplier's price list, a standard.

Corrections

A correction that carries a source is applied to the entry and the entry's checked date moves. The desk names the correction in the entry rather than quietly replacing the sentence, so a reader who quoted the earlier figure can see what changed.
